She was predeceased by: her parents, Wesley Gallant and Melvina Gallant; and her sisters, Marjorie and Andrea. She is survived by: her husband Albert Hackett; her children, Nicholas (Nancy), Arlene (Harley), Gordon (Cheryl) and Lois Perry (late Herb); her grandchildren, Johnathan, Jeffery, Jacob, Jessica, Amy, Ally, Gina, Devin, Crystal, Shane and Sabrina; and her siblings, Joyce (Carver), Barbara Gallant of Miscouche, Oswald of Alberton, Christine Lapointe (Don) of Bridgewater, NS, Edith Gavin (late Don) of Anglo, Connie Boucher (late Roger) of Lawrencetown, NS and Sandra Webb (Peter) of Amherst, NS.. She is also survived by her 11 great-grandchildren.
As an expression of sympathy, memorials to the Maplewood Manor, Alberton, will be gratefully appreciated.
