With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nelson Joseph Gaudet of Alberton, Prince Edward Island, born in Tignish, Prince Edward Island, who passed away on February 7, 2023 at the age of 86. He was predeceased by: his parents, Cyril Joseph and Edna Mary Gaudet; his girlfriend Rita Perry; his siblings, Irene Arsenault, Auldine Bernard, Eunice McFadgen, Barbara Ann Gaudet and Cyril Jr.; and his stepson Patrick Perry.

He is survived by: his siblings, Kathleen Doucette (LeRoy) of Deblois, Austin (Velda) of Alberton, Shirley Pitre of Toronto, Austena Doucette of Tignish, Doreen Robichault (Claude) of Nackawic, NB, Debbie Chaisson (Henry) of Alberta, Leonard (Audrey) of Charlottetown, Sandra James of Red Deer, AB, Theresa Legere (Norman) of Toronto, Velda Legere (Ron) of Mass and Ann Walsh (Rick) of Toronto. He is also survived by his many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
