He was predeceased by: his parents, Gregory Kinch and Edna Kinch; his siblings, Reta Kokkinnen, John Kinch and James Kinch; and his brother-in-law Robert Costain.

He is survived by: his wife Deborah Eileen Kinch; his children, Trevor Kinch (Michelle) of Thompson Road, Sheryl Kinch (Andy Ellsworth) of Miminegash and Gail Waite (Trevor); his grandchildren, Cameron, Maci, Chloe, Megan, Tyra Nike and Eric; his siblings, Lorraine Kinch of Alberton, Maureen Humble of Edmonton, AB and Leo Kinch of Palmer Road; his siblings-in-law, Elaine Kinch, Debbie Kinch, Jack Kokkinnen, David Costain (Marilyn) of Alberton and Gary Kinch (late Clara) of Tryon; his uncle Ellis Smallman; his cousin Kent Smallman (Lloydia) of Alma; and his nephew Jesse Kokkinnen.
