With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald Eric Matthews (Alberton, Prince Edward Island), who passed away on October 5, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parent Glenn Erskine; and his brothers, Allan and Douglas. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Ann Matthews; his sons, Chad (Cheryl) of Mill River and Mark (Jennifer) of Brenton, AB.; his grandchildren, Joel, Nick, Zach, Dylan, Noah, Avery and Adam Matthews; his sibling Blair (Carol) of Northport; his aunts, Judy Dunbar (late Archie) and Sandy Dunbar (late Fred) of Montrose; and his sister-in-law Wilma Campbell (John) of Summerside. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, cousins, and by his many friends.
As an expression of sympathy memorials to the Sacred Heart Cemetery Fund or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation will be gratefully appreciated.
