He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Bowness and Frances Bowness of Montrose; and his siblings, George Bowness, Dorothy Travers (late Clayton), Marie Devlin (late Paul), Lois Pridham (late Ken), Keith Bowness (late Blanche), Herbert Bowness, Doreen Heustis (late Lowell) and Jean.
He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Bowness of Huntley; his children, Charlotte Bowness, Shelley Baker (late Murray) and Iver Bowness (Kim); his grandchildren, Mary-Anne Prodanovic (Marvin), Ben Barnes (Jen), Maegan Morash (Andrew), Dan Barnes (Charley), Brett Bowness (Brittanny), Travis Bowness (Samantha) and Matthew Bowness (Natasha); his great grandchildren, Xander, Viola, Lily, Charlotte, Juniper, Everly and Brannigan; his siblings, Evelyn Ramsay (late Eston), Lynda Leard (Alan) and Allison Bowness (Joan); and his siblings-in-law, Wendell (late Janice), Reginald (late Lily Beth), Trude Dolphin (Joe) and Revada Bowness. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great-grandchildren.
As an expression of sympathy, memorials to the Rev WJ Phillips Residence or to the Montrose United Church Cemetery Fund would be appreciated.
