He is survived by: his wife Patty (Ratcliffe); his children, Jacqui Empson (John), Jody (Tanya Bedard), Michael (Gillian Spears) and Matthew; his grandchildren, Logan Forbes (Phaedra Scott), Luke Forbes (Alison Terpstra), Ryan Forbes (Hannah Kelly), Madalyn, Noelle Laporte, Quentin and Cooper Laporte; his siblings, Bernadette Laporte, Tony Laporte, Bridget Overholt, Marie, Tony Denomme and Angela Watson; his in-laws, Marie Laporte, Paula Laporte, Lillian Laporte, Bill, Dianne Ratcliffe, Sheila, Richard Byers, Laura, Lauch Harrison, Helen, Gord Olmstead and Paul Ratcliffe; and his brother Andre.
