With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Anson McKinley of Zurich, Ontario, who passed away on February 7, 2024 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Evelyn. He is survived by: his children, Larry McKinley (Elizabete David), Karen Ratcliffe, Cathy McKinley (John Hoover), Mary Lou Thomson (Robin Thomson) and Donna Steck (Brian Steck); his grandchildren, Warren, Alana McKinley, Kelly (Olivier St Maurice), Megan (Stephen Muir), Emily (John Berger), David Ratcliffe (Heather Waters), Josh (Magnolia Pauker), Alexandra, Mac Hoover (Inna), Nikki (James Gunn), Michael Thomson, Ethan and Steve Steck (Amanda); his great grandchildren, Grayson, Neve McKinley-Burns, Colton, Addison, Gabriel St. Maurice, Owen Waters, Douglas Muir, Jackson, Wyatt, Logan Berger, Olin, Tegel, Abigail, Emilia, Michael Hoover, Otis, Finlay, Heather Gunn, Max, Jude, Jimi and Bodhi Steck; his in-laws, Jean Fanson, Berne, Doris McKinley, Stanley, Willard King, Gordon and Diane Johns; and his sons-in-law, Dale Ratcliffe and Doug McKenzie. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
