It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Van Patter in York, Ontario, born in Toronto, Ontario, who passed away on November 17, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her former husbands, Tom Medland and Terry Van Patter; her daughter Jan Martin; her grandson Dylan Jackson; and her parents, Bank Manager John Stewart and Irene Legate.

She is survived by: her children, Wendy (Richard) of Candole, Tom Medland (Jan), Margot Nimmo and Jack Medland (Sue); her son-in-law Ken Martin; and her stepchildren, Ross Van Patter (Susan Gibson), Leslie Booth (John) and Susan Van Patter. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 16 great- grandchildren.
