He was predeceased by: his parents, John Veley and Helen Veley; and his siblings, Albert, Sarah and John.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Veley; his children, Lila Wilkins (Chad Wagner) and Steven Kearney; and his grandchildren, Kyle Wilkins (Angela), Katlyn Cooper (Will), Kendra Verrall (Chris), Kayla Battista (Justin), Kole Wilkins, Keagan Wilkins (Logan), Kadence Wilkins, Leena Kearney and Cody Kearney. He is also survived by many great grandchildren.
