He was predeceased by: his wife Joanne Brown; his parents, Wilfred Brown and Ada Brown; his brothers, Jack Brown and Robert Brown (Irene); and his brother-in-law Ralph Fiddes.

He is survived by: his children, Lynn, Dave Schmidt of Guelph, Lori and Paul Michaud of London; his granddaughter Heather; his sister Ruth Fiddes of Napanee; and his sibling-in-law Gwynne Brown of Wroxeter. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Fordwich Village Nursing Home Resident's Council would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
