He was predeceased by: his spouse Shirley Snell (Dettman); his parents, John Snell and Gertrude Snell (Ames); his son Gerald Snell; and his siblings, Jean (Jeffrey Marston), Vern (Hope Snell), Larry Snell and John Kenneth Snell.
He is survived by: his children, Elaine of Palmerston, Ron Elliott of Palmerston, Kathy of Palmerston, Dave Wilson of Palmerston, Murray, Donna Snell of Bluevale and Sherry Snell of Wroxeter.
