She was predeceased by: her husband Ron McMichael; her parents, Noah Ries and Eleanor Ries (Hossfeld); her siblings, Thelma Mullens (Harold) and Williard Ries; her siblings-in-law, Glenn McMichael (Phyllis) and Shirley Lamont (Lloyd); and her granddaughter Amanda Gaunt.
She is survived by: her daughters, Janice (Gary Ballagh), Karen (Morris Schmalz), Judith (Steve Gaunt) and Rhonda (Doug McArter); her grandchildren, Devan, Tyler Beckett, Michael Ballagh (Cassie Muldoon), Paige Ballagh (Kyle Waymouth), Matthew Ballagh, Cody, Brianna Schmalz, Jessica Schmalz, Andrew, Christine, Adam (Kaleigh), Caleb Gaunt, Olivia, Nick and Sam McArter; and her great grandchild Cameron Beckett.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society or the Wingham & District Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
