He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Dillon and Sue Dillon (Harris); his parents-in-law, Robert and Margret Bateman; and his sister-in-law Carol Bateman.

He is survived by: his wife Wendy Dillon (Bateman); his children, Joe, Michelle Dillon of Fordwich, Laura Dillon of Listowel, Tony Dillon, Tracey Steacy of Lucknow and Carrie Dillon of Wroxeter; his grandchildren, Ty Dillon of Fordwich, Riley Dillon, Jess Locklyn of Cambridge, Makayla Dillon of Fordwich, Pheonix Thompson of Listowel, River Thompson of Listowel and Atticus Thompson of Listowel; his great grandchild Ayden; his siblings, Rick Dillon of Thedford, Randy Dillon (Lisa Joly) of Mitchell, Bev Dillon (Jim Walker) and Bonnie Dillon (Clayton Kirk); and also, Elaine (Roy Ceal), Mary (Jim Sproul), Gail (Terry Sproul) and Glenda (Gerard Ducharme). He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
