He was predeceased by: his parents, George Strickler and Erma Strickler (Klosz); and his siblings, Doug and Edith (Robert Gravill). He is survived by: his wife Ruth Strickler (Caldwell); his children, Michael (Corinna) of Ardmore, Alberta, Kelly and Rick Hagendorn of Brampton; his grandchildren, David, Jackie, Robert, Kari and Travis; his great grandchildren, Katrina, Landon, Daxton and Cooper; his sister Ruth Ann (Doug Booker); and his sister-in-law Joyce Strickler (Dave Caldwell).
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Diabetic Association or to VON Sakura House would be appreciated by the family.
