He was predeceased by: his daughter Tracy (Lloyd Turner); his siblings, Annie Mueller, Rose Whicher, James McNeilage and George McEachran; and his parents, Annie and William John McEachran.
He is survived by: his sons, William James (Marcia) and David (Veronica); his grandchildren, Ryan, Shannon (Josh Boehm), Erin (Paul Whalen), Leigh, Brennan (Shannon) and Nicole; his great grandchildren, Eoighan, Jackson, Kaija, Chloe, Maxsten and Emylia; and his sister Margaret Wray. He is also survived by grandfather that his title was upgraded to "great-grandfather" status when his seven great-grandchildren.
