He was predeceased by: his parents, Percy Alyea and Elsie Alyea (Parkin); and his brothers, George and Howard. He is survived by: his spouse Ferne Alyea (Hartsell); his children, Karen Odell (Larry) and Doug Alyea (Deb); his grandchildren, Elizabeth Odell (Thomas Briginshaw) and Alissa Alyea (Devon Mels); and his siblings-in-law, Marg Alyea, Eileen Alyea, Carol Walton, Ann Streatch (Sandy), Elgin Hartsell (Ruby) and Eric Hartsell (Kate).
