Verna Chesney Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Verna Chesney (Woodstock, Ontario), who passed away on July 2, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Gollan and Abbie Gollan; her parents-in-law, Leslie and Nancy Chesney (Chester); her siblings, Manceal, Rollie Gollan, Edna Day (Hap) and Audrey MacLeod (Jack); and her siblings-in-law, Willis Langille and Blanche Swartz (Lloyd).
She is survived by: her husband Gordon Chesney; her children, Melissa Groot (Gerard), Angela Paulen (Brad) and Lee Chesney; her grandchildren, Zach, Alicia, Carson and Jacob; her sisters, Jeannie Langille of Seafoam and Mary McGinnis (Glenn) of Pheonix; and her sisters-in-law, Shirley Gollan of Seafoam, Joyce Collings (Garnet) of Paris, Ontario, Gail Farrington (Gary) of Woodstock, Ontario. and Marion Silverthorn (Harvey) of Woodstock, Ontario.. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews as well as great-nieces and nephews.
