She was predeceased by: her husband Jose Maria Joaquim. She is survived by: her children, Cissy Bourhani, Cindy Ameen (Majed) and Frank Joaquim (Loretta); her grandchildren, Jamal (Samira), Osman, Ameer Madina (Sofia), Layla, Ahmed, Sumaya, Sama, Payton and Devon; her great grandchild Noah; and her siblings, Ed Paiva (Evangilina), Diolinda Tavares and Matilda Petrie (Jack). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
