He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Medeiros and Belmira De Medeiros; and his sister Lucia Medeiros. He is survived by: his spouse Norvinda De Medeiros; his children, Danny (Carina) and Jennifer (Michael); his grandchildren, Tristan, Nicholas and Audrina; and his sister Grinalda Da Silva. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, God-children.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Smith-LeRoy Funeral Home (69 Wellington St N, Woodstock, ON N4S6P7). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church (1420 Devonshire Ave, Woodstock, ON N4S1H1). A burial was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery (584872 Beachville Rd, Woodstock, ON N4S7V6).

In lieu of flowers, donations in Vasco's memory can be made to London Health Sciences Foundation – Cardiac Care Unit.
