He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Murphy and Lenore Murphy; his stepmother Jean Murphy; and his siblings, Stan (Marjorie) and Pat Roberts (late Bob).
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Murphy; his children, Darrin Murphy (Jacque), Shannon Murphy and Jeremy Porter (Karla); and his grandchildren, Alex, Duncan, Aiden Murphy, Tyson, Payton and Kadence Porter.
