She was predeceased by: her parents, Florence Gauthier and Louis Gauthier; her husband John Archibald McDonald; and her siblings, Rene, Arthur, Jeannette, Rita and Irene.

She is survived by: her children, James Cooper (Shelley), Lynn Lowden (Larry), Timothy McDonald (Niccie) and John Kerry McDonald (Lisa); and her sister Florence Otto. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
