She was predeceased by: her son Logan Schaafsma; her father Andrew Schaafsma; and her brother John Schaafsma. She is survived by: her mother Irene Simms; and her siblings, Jim Schaafsma (Bonnie), Debbie Barrow (Bart) and Steve Simms (Catherine). She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family members and friends.
