We are sad to announce that on June 29, 2021, at the age of 80, Shirley Benson (Woodstock, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her significant other George Benson; her parents, Victor Turkington and Agnes Turkington; and her siblings, Anna Lewis, Vicki McKay, Amelia Forman, Joyce Veenstra and Doug Turkington.

She is survived by: her children, Pat Roos (Bob), Gwen Benson (Doug) and Darryl Benson (Robinn); her grandchildren, Jenn McKay, Jessica Murray (Brookes), Scott Benson and Shay Benson; her great grandchildren, Brody and Elliott Murray; and her siblings, Sheila Usher and David Turkington. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

If desired, memorial contributions to V.O.N. Sakura House would be appreciated and may be arranged through the funeral home.
