He was predeceased by: his parents, Tracy Wilks and Annie Wilks; his siblings, Fred Wilks (Alice) and Norma Keith (Jack); and his siblings-in-law, Jim Verhoef and Shirley Wilks.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Wilks; his children, Terrie Wilks, Ron Wilks (Marion), Debbie Brush (Charles) and Susan Benbow (Chris); his grandchildren, Jeff Wilks (Allison), Katie Wilks, Vicki Wilks (Shawn Krafft), Andrea West (Adam), Jacqueline Rumley (Kevin), Melissa Benbow and Greg Benbow (April Andelfinger); his great grandchildren, Ava, Brody Wilks, Aric, Cordell, Cameron Marin, Caylynn and Taylor Krafft; and his siblings, William Wilks, Betty Cumby (Dan), Dennis Wilks (Linda), David Wilks (Heather) and Carol Verhoef. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
