Peter Standish Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Peter Standish (Woodstock, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 31, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Standish and Catherine Crossland; and his siblings, Tony (late Glenis) and Kathleen (late John). He is survived by: his wife Frances Standish; his children, Peter Jr. (Sandra), Lorraine (Scott), Julie (Dean) and Karen (Al); his grandchildren, Brandon (Cassie), Jenna (Brandon), Kyle, Hayley (Nick), Thomas (Trish), Evan (Halie), Cassidy, Jayde, Meagan, Abby and Madison; his sisters, Norma (late Joe) and Eileen (Keith); and his close friends, Tina and Steve Eccleston. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Smith-LeRoy Funeral Home (69 Wellington St N, Woodstock, ON N4S6P7). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
