He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Sylvia; his children, Terrence Wayne Hettinga, Lisa Ross (Steve) and Leona Bruce; his grandchildren, Ashley Cousineau (Mike), Terry Mick, Aaron Ross and Laura Ross; his great grandchildren, Alex, Zackary and Mikaela; and his siblings, Art Hettinga (Renny), Lola Dewitt (John), Raymond Hettinga (Margaret) and Rita Burns (Ron).
