He was predeceased by: his parents, Jan Sitar and Stanislawa Sitar; and his brothers, Zbigniew and Ryszard. He is survived by: his wife Teresa Sitar; his children, Pawel Sitar (Ingrid), Izabela Sitar and Krystyna Schwarz (Peter); his grandchildren, Veronica, Jessica, Tyler, Jaden, Emily and Carson; his sister Zofia Lekki of Poland; and also Spain. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.

If desired, memorial contributions to the Holy Cross Catholic Church (by cheque) or the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated and may be arranged through the Funeral Home.
