She was predeceased by: her husband Frank "Barney" Birtch; her children, Marilyn Oosterveld and Ross Birtch; and her siblings, Marion Norman (Chuck), Alexander (Gwen), Allan (Madeline) and Neil (Nancy).
She is survived by: her children, Jean Smart (Alan) and Mark Birtch (Karen); her grandchildren, David Smart (Melissa), Dawn Dykeman (Donald), Steven Oosterveld, Ross Birtch (Jenna Piper), Jillyan Birtch and Garrett Birtch (Isabel Stanley); and her sibling Jean Holland (late Mac). She is also survived by many extended family and friends.
