Maria Silva Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria Silva of Woodstock, Ontario, who passed away on January 18, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Maria Silva to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Joe Silva; her parents, Manuel Raposo and Olivia Raposo; and her siblings, Joe Raposo and Alda Cabral.
She is survived by: her children, Emanuel Miller (Victoria) and Maria Velda (John); her grandchildren, Tony, Emanuel (Samantha), Ember (Sam), Devon and Brandon; her great grandchild Cristiano; and her siblings, Manuel Raposo (Olivia), Tony Raposo (Maria), Margarida "Fatima" Vieira (Jose), Agostino Raposo (Eulalia) and David Raposo (Maria). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
There will be scheduled visitation at the SMITH-LeROY FUNERAL HOME, 69 Wellington St. North, Woodstock on Sunday, January 24, 2021 from 2 pm – 4:30 pm (please use the RSVP section on Maria's page on the website. Masks are mandatory and everyone must stay in their vehicles until their scheduled time).
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations in Maria's memory can be made the Alzheimer's Society of Oxford, Woodingford Lodge - Recreation Program or the Woodstock Hospital Foundation or arrange a Mass to be said at Holy Trinity Parish in her memory.
