He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Julie Raper; his daughter Melissa Raper (Mat Blain); his parents, Bernice Raper and A. Leroy Raper; and his siblings, Ruth Ann Innes (Keith), Steven Raper (Kim) and Derrick (Val). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
