He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Duivesteyn and Ann Duivesteyn; and his siblings-in-law, Johannas Streefkerk and Alice Moes (Albers). He is survived by: his wife Anna (Ans); his children, Cindy, Brent Farquhar, Anita, Jim Bartley, Harold, Ruby Duivesteyn and Caroline Duivesteyn; his grandchildren, Brendan Farquhar (Alice), Andrew Farquhar (Alexandra), Graham Farquhar, Michael Farquhar, Joshua Bartley (Melissa), Julia Benbow (Dan), Amy Gurney (Trevor), Daniel Duivesteyn (Alina), Timothy Duivesteyn, Lisa Duivesteyn, Erica Schuster (Alexander), Lindsay Klassen (Risty) and Alexandra Streicher (Collin); his siblings, Sharon Lenters (late William) and Anthony (Carol); and his siblings-in-law, Atie Zylstra (late Hielke) and Chris (Fran Streefkerk). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
