He was predeceased by: his great grandchild Maddalyn; his parents, Carmen Bendall (Marion Lacey) and Pearl Hart (Milne); his brother Keith Bendall; and his brother-in-law Larry Leitch.

He is survived by: his significant other Diane Vanderhaeghe; his children, Teresa Bendall (Ron Bernard), Wendy Major (Don) and Deb Rudy (Steve); his grandchildren, Alexia Dilliott (Michael) and Victoria Cybulski (Jason); his great grandchildren, Malcolm, Edith, Paislee, Jackson and Elliott; his siblings, Gary Hart (Connie), Brian Hart (Molly), Marvin Hart (Eileen), Donna Stewart (Don), Sheila Bendall and Brent Bendall; and also, Jayden, Joshua, Samuel, Sarah and Elizabeth "Betty" Bendall.
