She was predeceased by: her children, Gregory Carson and Master Corporal Christopher Carson; her parent Charles Mitchell; and her sibling Cathy Mitchell. She is survived by: her parent Patricia Mitchell; her grandchildren, Savannah, Haven, Dakota and Breanna; her sibling Dan Mitchell (Judy) of Peterborough; and her pet Benji. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and extended family.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations can be made to the Wounded Warrior.
