He was predeceased by: his parents, Jozef Kovarcik and Rosa Kovarcik; and his brother Jano Kovarcik (Cica). He is survived by: his spouse Barbara Kovarcik; his children, Joe Kovarcik and Helen Lukianchuk (Luke); his grandchildren, Alex and Mikayla; and his sibling Ruzenka Crnobrnja. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
