He was predeceased by: his wife Jadwiga Ciupek (Kubowicz); his parents, Mieczyslaw Ciupek and Anna Ciupek; and his son Waldemar. He is survived by: his children, Grzegorz (Malgorzata), Mariusz (Renata) and Anna (Todd); and his sisters, Irena and Wladyslawa.
