He was predeceased by: his wife Maria Van Ostaeyen; his children, Frank Van Ostaeyen (Nancy) and Charlie Van Ostaeyen; and his granddaughters, Tanya and Katie.
He is survived by: his children, Rita Warren (George), John Van Ostaeyen (Evelyn White), Bernie Turpin (Rick), Marilyn Greer (George Clemens) and Anita Lange (Gary); and his grandchildren, Lindsay (Kevin), Erin (Andrew), Matt (Stephanie), Megan (Chris), Jeremy (Erin), Nicole (Tony), Tyler (Kierstin), Christie, Dan (Shannon), Jaclyn (Chad), Kendra (Kalen), Kelsey (Brandon), Erika (Kyle), Colin (Meghan) and Ivan (Abbie).
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home (845 Devonshire Ave, Woodstock, ON N4S8Z4). A memorial service was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
