He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Moreland and Florence Moreland (Hinves); his children, Francis and Joey; and his siblings, Bill (Eunice), Fred (Shirley), Lorna Lightheart (Bill) and Florence Patterson (Don).

He is survived by: his children, Brian (Nora), John (Janice) and Georgina. He is also survived by his 9 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
