He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Hooton and Nora Hooton; and his pets, Daisy, Maggie, Molly and Oliver.
He is survived by: his children, Gavin Hooton of British Columbia and Cheryl Wettlaufer (Andy) of Woodstock; his grandchildren, Elim, Sita, Gaspar, Allegra, Neeva and Kael; his sister Kathleen Curwood (Michael) of England; his nephews, Simon (Nicola) and Paul; and also Barb.
