She was predeceased by: her husband Jacob; her son Hank; her sister Dingena of Wit; and her grandson Robert. She is survived by: her children, Audrey Crawford (Barry), Elisabeth Bakker and John Bakker (Sandy); her daughter-in-law Carol Bakker (Hank); her niece Lya De Witt; her grandchildren, Annette (Robbie), Pam (Stuart), Steve (Kate), Paula (Rob), Mike (Brenda), Julia (Aaron), Lucas (Jackie) and Lisa; and her close friend Alice Wesler.

If desired, contributions may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society and arranged through the funeral home.
