He was predeceased by: his sisters, Sheila Irvine and Ethel Fordyce. He is survived by: his wife Gail (Hallgren); his children, Fiona Knight (Kevin) and Jamie Laird (Rachael); his grandchildren, Sadie and Ewan; his mother-in-law Terry; his pet Molly; his niece Dawn; and his nephews, Dennis and George.
