He was predeceased by: his wife Betty; his great grandchild Clara Hope; his brother Ralph; and his sister-in-law Tina Schut. He is survived by: his children, Allan Schut (Alice), Bonita Hannon (Chris) and Lori-Anne Bonsma (Randy); his grandchildren, Rebecca (Ben), Kristin, Erika (Chance), Kerri (Steven), Tyler (Leah), Randall, Bethany (Brian), Nathan (Holly), Jannelle, Daniella, Kae-Lynn (Andrew) and Anna; his great grandchildren, Matthew, Keadyn, Johnathan, Jemma, Allaster, Desirae and Boyd; his brothers, John Schut (Alice) and Albert Schut (Jessie); and his sibling-in-law Charlie Triemstra (Elsie). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
