He was predeceased by: his parents, Rachel Vermeersch (Morreel) and Gaston Vermeersch; and his siblings, Lea Beelprez (late Joel), Clara Dehens (late Urbain) and Joel Vermeersch (late Jeannine).
He is survived by: his wife Wilhelmina "Willy" Vermeersch (Van Roestel); his great grandchildren, Greg (Rebecca) of Courtland, Pam (Kevin) of Ancaster, Jeff (Ann) of Tillsonburg, Barbara (Christoph Teschers) of Christchurch, Blakely, Beckett and Reid; his siblings, Georgette Garren, John Vermeersch, Dan Vermeersch (Diane), Jenny Bouw (Pete) and Noel Vermeersch; and also, Colin (Samantha), Andrea (Tanner), Taylor, Tristan, Abbie, Aric, Evelyn, Niklas and Daniella. He is also survived by many in-laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
