He is survived by: his spouse Starla Mitchener Dassy; his children, Cindy Davey (Michelle Peters), Tristan Dassy (Jenni), Shawn Dassy and Erin Lawrence; his grandchildren, Justin, Joshua, Chelsea, Blake, Megan, Madeline and Austin; and his sibling Susan Alleyne (Peter).
