It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Ester Cowan of Woodstock, Ontario, who passed away, on December 11, 2021. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Julian Oppus and Eduarda Oppus; her brothers, Alfred Oppus and Samuel Oppus; and her husband Charles Cowan.
She is survived by: her sons, Ritchie Ople (Dale) and Richard Ople (Mirella); her grandchildren, Sienna Ople, Richard and Mirella; and her siblings, Virginia Eget (Reynaldo), Lourdes Magsino (Edgar), Josephine Viray, Nenette Gonzales (Abraham), Joven Oppus (Malou), Teresita Gaerlan (Alex) and Jean Ogasawara.
A memorial mass will be held at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Wingham on Saturday, December 18th, 2021 at 11:00 a. m. Registration and proof of vaccination is not required for the mass; however, masks must be worn at all times and social distancing respected.
If desired, memorial donations to the VON Sakura Hospice House in Woodstock would be appreciated.
