He was predeceased by: his sibling Sieds Vandermeer (Evelyn). He is survived by: his children, Harold (Agnes), Arnold (Rhonda) and Marilyn Vandermeer (Shane Caravan); his stepchildren, Yvonne Bloxsidge (Wally), Rob Hoiting, Rick Hoiting (Annette) and Debbie Hoiting; and his siblings, Hottie Vandergaast (late Wiebe), Auke Vandermeer (Corey), Sjerp Vandermeer (Edna), Rose Feddema (Piet), Adrien Vandermeer (Wilma) and Verna (Ivan). He is also survived by his many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
