She was predeceased by: her husband Douglas Phelps; her son Charles "Chuck" Henry James Phelps; her parents, Charles Martin and Margaret Martin; and her siblings, Rose Ball (Desmond), Violet Davis (George), Gwendolyn Martin, Charles Martin (Violet Glease), Harold Martin and David Martin.
