She was predeceased by: her siblings, Jack (Betty) and Irene Morrison (Jake). She is survived by: her husband Carl; her children, Jennifer Butcher and Jim Butcher (Karen); her siblings, William (June), David (Bev), Richard (Flo) and Jeannette McAlpine; and her sister-in-law Sara Boyles. She is also survived by Many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

After rewarding careers and significant contributions to their community, Doris and Carl retired and returned to their roots in southern Ontario, they took up residence in Woodstock.
