It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dmytro Pawlyszyn of Woodstock, Ontario, who passed away on March 7, 2023, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Maria. He is survived by: his children, Mary Martin (Jim Martin) of Victoria, B. C. and Roman (Shân Gordon) of Toronto. He is also survived by three granddaughters, six great-grandsons.
He spent his last years at the Ukrainian Canadian Care Centre in Toronto where, despite difficult circumstances owing to COVID-19, he was able to enjoy familiar food, attend services at the on-site chapel, and communicate in his native tongue.
