He was predeceased by: his significant other Mabel; his parents, Robert King and Flora King; his siblings, Ken King (Pearl), Don King (Kay), Helen Farrer and Edna Morris; his siblings-in-law, Arthur Rooke, Charles Rooke, Peter Vernooy and Shirley Orr; and also, Jean, Carol, Wayne, Clarence Rooke and Jennie Rooke.

He is survived by: his sibling Harry King (Annice); his sister-in-law Marlene King; his niece Wendy Harte; his brother Construction Ltd; and also Maxwell.
