He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Ruby Showers; his parents, Olva Showers and Evelyn Showers (Grant); his sibling Marion Searles (late Bill); and his children, Murray Showers (Donna), Catherine Oliveira (Mike) and Karen Rowell (Jeffery). He was also cherished by 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
